I wanted to share my own family's story of War and why we continue to remember those who fought on our behalf so many years ago, and those who continue to fight today.

My grandfather (Poppa) was a very special man. He was one of the many men who fought in WW II. He was my hero and I loved him very much.
He used to talk a lot about his time spent over seas, and he kept a box full of things that represented his time there.

Today is Remembrance Day. A day to remember the men and women who have given their lives to fight for the freedoms we are so blessed to have today in Canada. And we need to also take time to today to think about the ones who are out there right now on the front lines for our Country.
